At last I have something to show for my efforts this past month. The top socks were made start to finish. They are acrylic sport weight yarn. I found the yarn on sale for $1.00 a skein and could not resist. Not having any nylon content I am not sure how long they will last but they were a fun project to make and I like the cheery colors. They will be great to wear on Saturdays with jeans......
The second pair has a little metallic thread running through the yarn. black slacks, denim blazer, winte white turtleneck with a gray crew neck over it...... Hmmmm 
What lovely socks! I am dying to learn how to knit socks ..... some day soon I hope.
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE those socks! The third pair - with the metallic thread.. is that some of the yarn that makes it's own design? If so, will you tell me all the details so I can try to find some. Love those a lot!!
