Progress

The borders were sewn on...

Now to prepare the backing... Then next Wednesday it will be off to the quilter...

This cross stitch complete just need to decide on the finishing.  Auditioning fabric in case I want to make a small quilt...

Found this kit that was Rebekah's.  It will be a tree skirt for a small quilt.

Found a sweet night gown pattern for Rebekah...  Now to get one cut out and ready.  Picked up fabric for four gowns...

Off to get a haircut.  Not before time...

A Little Sewing Done

This quilt was cut out months ago.    The pattern is from Fabric Café.  They have some quick quilt patterns that are fun to assemble.

They also only take three yards of fabric for the top and three yards for the back.  Great way to reduce stash...

I had even marked the pieces for the pinwheel blocks so sewing went quickly.

The pinwheel blocks sewn and the quilt is ready to assemble.

Rows are now ready to be sewn together...

Two Steps Forward - One Step Back...

A half a dozen diapers for Rebekah...  She enjoys playing with Baby...  I need to get some clothes made for the doll next.

Helen Stubbings has produced a year long embroidery project called 365 Day Stitch Therapy.

Part embroidery and part applique...  Looked like great fun and a good way to start each day...

I have gotten started and am on day 62 now.

Not doing the applique blocks yet.  Saving them till last.

So many delightful embroideries that can be used on other projects...

Now off to spend an hour working on the quilted bears that were supposed to be finished last year.
