This and That

I am out of my gray piecing thread.........  Decided I would empty a few bobbins so I delved into my basket of the scrap quilt I have been marinating for ten years.....

I now have three rows of seven completed...

Next was to finish the socks for my dear sister Jean.....

Looking around the studio I discovered a set of napkins I had cut and pressed for hemming...  Now they are complete and in the buffet waiting for the place mats they go with to be finished.  They will require piecing so that will have to be done later...

Completed two more baby bibs for Reba.........

Made four of these fabric puzzle balls for the babies being born in the family.  All are mailed and on the way with one extra.......

With all the finishing going on I decided to begin stitching the Mary Englebreit "Believe".  It was a favorite of Rebekah's so this is being made in memory of my darling girl.........

Finished two more soup bowl cozies for a special couple.........

Made a scrappy pincushion to hold my needles.  I find I get the different kinds mixed up in the pincushion........  This is just right for the table beside my chair......

Amazing the things I have finished since I can no longer piece till I purchase more thread........  Might just delay that purchase for a wee bit longer to see just how much I can accomplish........

A Good Time

Sunday I was surprised with a visit from the great grands.  Jason brought the boys over to fish........

The little ones fished for less than thirty minutes before they came inside.

I had been stuffing baby toys and one of Andrew made a snowball with my "cotton".  I never explained that it was really polyester.

One two dollar bag of fiber fill and a few boxes..........

They cleaned everything before they left...........

I order online therefore I have a collection of boxes in one corner of my garage.  Someone is always looking for a box and they know to come here....

Chewy.com is a favorite store.....  There prices are better and they deliver within 48 hours........  They also have a better variety and I am able to shop for items made in the USA only.

Life is Just a Chair off Bowlies

From this to..............

This......

By adding ten inch squares of batting cut from scraps I can have a chair or two of bowl cozies.........

All have now been given to friends and family.........  Still more to be made.......  Such fun to make and so easy.....

Next up was the blocks for the guild exchange....  I made six of them...  Two have printed centers.....

And four have embroidery centers.....
