Baby Steps

For several weeks now Wade Hamilton (in the right) has enjoyed having a friend,
Sophie, stay over while her mother has surgery...

They are always with me in the kitchen.  I might just drop something...

I finished sweater #2.  This one is for Xavier....  Now to get them mailed tomorrow..

At night I have been enjoying stitching my Cathedral Window.  I have nine blocks complete.  This is four single blocks.

This is four other blocks that I am beginning to assemble.  The plan is to assemble them in sections of four blocks and then assemble the sections together....

Accountibility

In an effort to make better use of my time, I plan to become a better blogger...

Last week I could find no prepped handwork to carry with me to the guild for stitch and chat...

I searched for the containers of Cathedral Window that I started years ago....

I have now cut the fabric for two rows of eight blocks and I am in the process of doing the machine stitch part.  Four blocks are folded and assembled waiting for the decorative fabric.  One more block is ready to be folded...

Xavier's sweater has been languishing on the table for two weeks now...….  Just needs sewing together.  Can you tell that I don't enjoy that part as much as I enjoy knitting....

My neighbor had surgery last week and I am taking care of her dog. Sophie...  She and Wade Hamilton are now my shadows.  Especially when I am trying to cook...

Today I really need to do some laundry....  Time will tell...
