The theme of our guild's quilt show this year is "A Quilt For All Seasons".They have come up with a challenge. For $5.00 you could purchase these five fabrics and if you make a quilt following their guidelines you can turn it in for the show and get your $5.00 back.
The rules are: No one side should be smaller than 12 inches nor larger than 18 inches.
All challenge fabrics must be included in the quilt.
Others may be addes
Quilt must be made by only one person
Ouilt needs to be handed in no later than Oct. 2007.

Challenges drive me crazy. I have fabric for a bag challenge to be done next May and it is sitting there staring at me and when I look at it all my ideas dry up. Not sure why. I think I do better getting the idea and then the fabric. Well, I have lots of time. Maybe something will come to me. I can't wait to see what you do with your fabrics.

ReplyDeleteI will be looking forward to seeing what you do with the orange fabric. My stash is void of orange commerical fabric. I love dyeing and painting fabric with orange colors.
