Sunny day with cool temperatures...

Yesterday was Guild.........  My favorite meeting....  Sit and stitch..........

Then off to lunch with my high school friends...

Home late afternoon but I am off again today to go to Happy's and out to lunch with Joyce.....

Wade found another tissue this morning........ I really must be more careful..........

I found the last picture I had taken of the Nativity..  This was in the middle of January......  I was stunned at how much progress I have made......

Here it is today............  I just might finish the center panel this year..........

Design Wall Monday on Tuesday....

Last top is read to be layered and quilted.....  I began the assembly of the next one....

Block one DONE..........

Block two competed and in place.....  On the right side I have added the borders......  Not too happy with this one.......  Too muddy..........  Oh well, it will be warm and that is the goal..........

I didn't realize he would attack a whole box.............

Picked it up and dropped it into a trash container.........  Left the room only to return and discover he was at it again......  At least he had a good time......

Gorgeous weather yesterday....   Started the weeding.......

Finished one section......  Was planning to do more but found fire ants in the other areas......  Fed them well and Thursday I can weed more........

Update for my friends.....

I spent yesterday finishing my quilt top........  My house is in disarray and will be for some time....

The love of my life has been ill for some time..........  As time progressed he needed more and more care.....

That meant I could stitch less and less.........

He went to live with our Lord on Tuesday..........

Our family and many friends have worked tirelessly to help me keep him at home.... 

Perhaps I will have more things to share with you now..........

Whew........... Done.........

It took long enough but this is finally done............  All ready to layer and quilt.......... 

Five yards for the top and 3 1/2 for the backing.........  Not bad for stash clearing...........
