Several years while visiting family in NC, Lem and I purchased a lot to build on when we retired. We called it our "Five Year Plan".....
After we got back to New England I began looking at house plans. Let me tell you, some of them could have housed a third world country. Then reality reared its ugly head and I got down to "exactly how do we want to spend our time when we have it"?
This is the final plan. There is a small area on the second floor that will be MY SEWING STUDIO..................
I knew years ago that I had to clear out the basement. I did not do that. Now the day of reckoning has arrived. Even though there are many projects I want to make and many things I want to participate in, I will be FORCED to work on getting ready to move.
The good news is that I found someone who runs an annual yard sale for Habitat for Humanity and she will come to my house and haul off whatever I give her. Will I have the courage to share this in picture form? Well.......... I am not sure............

Doesn't Orleans have a "free-shop" at the dump too? I know several of the Cape towns do... that is where I bring LOTS of my stuff that I don't really want to throw out because they are still good enough to use... but I don't have time to hassle with a yard sale. Just a thought for whatever is left-over from the Habitat person! Good luck with your cleaning out project - it is actually a good time of year to be doing stuff like this.
Cheers!
