Update
For anyone interested you can find the Cuban Black Bean soup at Rhoda's Southern Hospitality. We had it tonight and it was delicious. I did add some rice because Robert is from Mississippi and he and I agreed that rice would improve anything............... I picked up some crusty bread at our local bakery.....MMMMMMM MMMMMMMMM Good.

OH - it looks like a really tasty soup. I have never used black bean before - might be a good time to try.
