Only Vickie and Joan were there today. Everyone else is traveling this week.
Vickie brought three more blocks that she has completed for the Country Cousins challenge. Here she has done 4 blocks and I haven't finished the first one.
It has been too cold to sit in the family room and applique. The weather is supposed to be better starting today so there is hope.
I must finish the siggies first and Kim's blocks for the final Row Jane. I hope to be able to make the legs for my table this weekend, at least if all goes as planned. I can't imagine it should take too long.
I only have the last hour to finish on my Hour a Day Quilt. It is turning out so well. Judy does the absolute best instructions. I have had great success with every one of the designs she has shared with us.
I also made the decision to do one block on the first row of my "The Road Less Traveled" BOM. That is going to be a fun quilt to make.
Perhaps I will have a table to show tomorrow.

Wow! I LOVE that dark background...really makes those applique pieces 'pop'! One of these days....LOL
Your friend's appliqué blocks look great (and no offense, but they remind me of chocolate cakes with coloured marzipan decorations - so sweet - *smile*). Looks like you are having a lot to do, almost making me feel quilty about draging you into an SBS - but it's FUN! Happy quilting!
Those are very nice applique blocks. I bet they would also be great in wool ( I'm still looking for a pattern - LOL)
Beautiful blocks!
What beautiful blocks! Makes me want to dig out the dark brown I bought for one of the Blackbird ladies designs and get started on it. I bet you can hardly wait to get started on yours. I'm eager to see what color theme you choose.
Gosh, I'm doing the same quilt but in a lighter colour background. It's from the book Baltimore's Country Cousins by Susan McKelvey, what a great book it is. This was a BOM (ended Dec 06 from one of my favorite quilt store. I sent you the link as a tease ;o). I think I have 4 blocks completed. Oh we do have similar taste in quilting! I like the way it's coming out. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilt.
Wow, that's looking beautiful. I need to get back to mine - I see the finished blocks on a hanger waiting patiently for the other blocks to join them. Sigh!
I love to hear about your Breakfast Club, Suze!
