The First Pieced Top of 2007

Well, here it is, the New Years Eve Mystery quilt top. No borders on this one and it will be packaged with the excess fabric and put aside until time to quilt it.

I hope some form of long arm quilter is in my future so I am saving up my pieced tops until after we move. By then I will be in a better position to at least machine quilt them because I will have more space to work.

Turned out well- since mysteries are always a gamble, do you like it and would you have made it if you had seen it first? I'm always curious about this. I have been lucky in that most of the ones I have done I am happy with, one I would have chosen my fabrics a bit differently and on another I wouldn't have started at all! LOL

I did a mystery quilt once, it turned out pretty good. One day I must quilt it :)
