Oh, the chart is filling in rather nicely.............. I might get a heart or two indicating the completed project on there this weekend.............. Posted by Picasa

A look at the completed bookmark. I am delighted to have this complete at last. Now off it goes in the mail to Atlanta for Grand Assembly. It turned out rather well. I do hope the recipient is pleased.

Progress is being made..........Slowly but surely................ The bookmark for Rebekah will be complete tomorrow and ready to mail...... I got the fringe on one side this morning and I can complete the other side before work tomorrow.... I was not able to complete the morning routine today nor will I be able to tomorrow. That is fine.....I can pick up on Saturday and bask in the glow of getting that project completed.

The next deadline I face is completing Donna's blocks to mail to Theresa..........

This is the cross stitch wedding sampler for Leslie and Wrenn. I did another one just like if for Laura and Hans but I gave it to Lu to pass on to them. Just how long will it take to wrap and mail this picture. Posted by Picasa

Honey wanted to fly away with the Red Baron Whale. Posted by Picasa
DH and Honey with one of the whales on Main St in Hyannis.
There are over 50 decorated whales on the Cape
This one is in front of the JFK Museum.

Doesn't Honey look pleased to be there? Posted by Picasa
Three little mockingbirds.

These were raised in my daughter's garden. Just one big nest of need there. Can't you just hear them chirping?

Weekend projects

The NUMBER ONE PRIORITY now is the Bookmark for Rebekah.

That must be done in the next 2 weeks…………………..

I would like to finish one set of Row Jane swap blocks.

I would like to get my pictures taken and up to date on this blog.

One Dutch Treat Block

One hour on Pat’s Wedding Sampler

One 10x10 block on The Rose

Finish 5 GFG flowers

This is the Birdseye Shawl I finished several weeks ago. It is an easy pattern and will be a great shawl. It is more of a utility shawl and even though it is not all wool it is still warm.
Here is a close up of the pattern Posted by Picasa

This is the beaded shawlette I finished earlier this year. The shape makes it drape beautifully

This is a view of the back. Nice detail on the back.

Here is a close up view showing the black beeds. Each one was put on with a crochet hook one stitch at a time and then the stitch was knitted. Posted by Picasa

I
I thought I would add two of the blocks I have completed for an online BOM I have going. This is the Lillibets quilt from Apple Wood Farms. Posted by Picasa

I am still plagued with a dratted cold………. That sure interferes with the stitching plans. I had to cancel my class last night. Just could not go…. I had even finished my blue velvet bag and packed it ready to go.

I worked on the book mark for Rebekah. I have taken out more than I put in…. I think I have the pattern established in my mind now. Perhaps tonight will be better.

Well, last night was not better. I will have to try again tonight. I have one diamond almost complete on the bookmark. They are 2 ½ inches long. I will need six or seven of them. I need to get at least one a day complete in order to mail this in a timely manner. Other things will have to go on hold till it is done.
